Ryan Braun has dominated Cardinal pitchers capping off a 4 for 4 night by hitting his sixth home run off Cardinal pitchers over the last six games.  His homer in the 9th gave the Brewers a series sweeping 4-3 win.

The Brewers scored 17 runs over the four wins with nine of those runs coming in the 8th inning or later.  With the exception of Joel Pineiro’s two runs he gave up in the 8th in the first game of the series, it’s been the bullpen that has let the Cardinals down.

Of course, the offense been up to par either, after getting shutout by CC Sabathia the night before, the Cardinals didn’t have much more success against Ben Sheets as he tossed seven innings givng up three runs, two earned on just four hits and two walks.
