Team USA handles midwest All-stars a defeat

July 19, 2008 By admin Leave a Comment

The USA olympic softball team was at Meador Park in Springfield last night playing the ASA Midwest All-Stars.  Team USA pounded out 18 hits, including four home runs, to back Cat Osterman’s two-hit pitching in a 15-0 win.

The olympic team is making the rounds across the country playing exhibition games to prepare for the summer in Beijing, China.  Team USA is 55-1 this summer with just four games left on their schedule.

Team USA is the only country to win all three gold medals in the Olympic games.
