Fatal Helicopter Crash

July 15, 2008 By admin Leave a Comment

Two people are dead after a Branson tour company helicopter crashed near the Norfork Dam in Arkansas this morning.

Officials have identified the victims as James Dean Eversten of West Plains and Randall J. Arthur of Marshfield. Eversten owned Ozark Mountain Helicopters in Branson and Arthur worked for Show-Me Power.

This is the first accident of this kind Ozark Mountain Helicopters pilot Jason Preston can recall. Preston said the company often works with utilities to check power lines and equipment.
