Obama plane makes unscheduled landing in St. Louis

July 7, 2008 By admin Leave a Comment

Presumptive Democratic presidential nominee Barack Obama (D-IL) makes an unscheduled landing in St. Louis. The candidate’s plane was on the way to Charlotte from Chicago. A spokeswoman for the Federal Aviation Administration says the plane had a flight control problem. The pilot of Obama’s plane said the plane could not keep its nose at the proper angle.

Officials are examining the plane to correct the problem. Obama made previous stops to Kansas City and St. Louis since wrapping up the Democratic nomination in early June.
