Constitution Party of Missouri gears up for vigorous campaign

July 7, 2008 By admin Leave a Comment

Having been approved for the November ballot, the Constitution Party of Missouri is gearing up for some serious campaigning leading up to the general election.

Donna Ivanovich, Chair of the Constitution Party of Missouri, says the party lost ballot access following the 2004 election, but has collected enough valid signatures to have the party return to the ballot this year.

The Constitution Party will field candidates for President and Vice President, as well as for four statewide offices in Missouri – Governor, Lieutenant Governor, Treasurer, and Secretary of State. In addition, it will vie for three Congressional seats and nine State Representative contests.

Ivanovich sums up the party’s platform as being in tune with the U.S. Constitution.
