The Royals won 6-5 win over Baltimore in 11 innings.  Overcoming a 5-1 deficit, the Kansas City chipped away and were down to the last strike when Miguel Olivo delivered.

Olivo, with two strikes in the count, hit a solo homer in the 9 th and  Jose Guillen singled home in Mike Aviles in the 11 th with the go ahead and eventual game winner.

Zach Greinke got roughed up, giving up five runs in five innings, but the bullpen steadied as Ron Mahay pitched two scoreless innings for the win.  Joakim Soria picked up his 22 nd save,  striking out two along the way.
