Grooms to leave MU, but Tigers add QB prospect

June 27, 2008 By admin Leave a Comment

Powermizzou.com is confirming that 3 rd string quarterback Dominic Grooms of the Missouri Tigers is transferring.  They are also reporting that they picked up a verbal commitment from Springdale, Arkansas QB Ashton Glaser.

The Tigers are pretty deep at the incoming QB position over the next couple of years with Blaine Gabbert coming in this season and Blue Springs South’s Blaine Dalton coming in as well in 2009.  Glaser has his own website where it posted his stats, showing he threw for 22 TD’s and ran for another twelve last season.

As far as Grooms, the red shirt sophomore saw no time on the field in 2007.
