AB Board rejects offer from InBev

June 26, 2008 By admin

The Board of Directors of St. Louis-based Anheuser-Busch says thanks, but no thanks, to an offer from Belgium-based InBev to take over the maker of Budweiser. Basically, the offer of $65 per share was unanimously rejected as being too low. Industry experts expect InBev to come back with another offer in the near future.

The prospect of Anheuser-Busch being sold to InBev has led to a movement in Missouri to keep AB in St. Louis.
