The Kansas City Chiefs signed former Mizzou wide receiver Will Franklin to a contract earlier this week.  Terms of the agreement were not released.

The only information made available was that the length of the contract was set at four years.  Franklin impressed many scouts at the NFL combine when he ran one of the fastest 40 yard dashes for receivers.  When Missouri hosted their NFL pro day shortly after the combine, Franklin improved on his vertical jump and broad jump numbers as well.

It was after that day, that Franklin said he was told by the Rams and the Chiefs scouts that their teams would be giving him consideration come draft day.
