The state emergency management agency has rounded up more than 900-thousand sandbags for people trying to keep their levees from being overtopped. Spokesman Susie Stonner says the bags are in several locations and can be delivered quickly.

She says the Missouri River in northwest Missouri should crest tonight and tomorrow morning from Buchanan County north—although addtiional rain could delay that. She expects problems in Central Missouri next week.

Stonner says the Mississippi is expected to creat from Pike County north will crest in the middle of next week, in record levels in some places.
