Presumptive Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama has begun his attempt to woo supporters of Hillary Clinton. At a fundraising reception in St. Louis, Obama proclaimed that the Democratic Party must be unified going into November. To emphasize the unity theme, Obama was introduced at the event by Clinton’s Missouri campaign director, Representative Rachel Storch of St. Louis who promised Obama that Missouri Democrats would unite behind him.

Obama spends part of this morning with a St. Louis nurse working at a local hospital. It’s part of the candidate’s two-week economic tour called "Change that Works for You".
