The Royals beat Cleveland 6-1 to finish off the homestand with a two game winning streak.  The three G’s back Brian Bannister who picked up his fifth win of the season.

Jose Guillen and Mark Grudzielanek homered, Alex Gordon doubled and all three drove in two runs Sunday afternoon to back Brian Bannister’s 7 1/3 innings.   

Bannister has been lights out in the daytime at Kaufmann Stadium, where his ERA is .092.  Bannister’s lone hiccup came with one out in the 8th inning when Grady Sizemore hit a solo home run.

The Royals will travel to Chicago where the White Sox lead the division over Minnesota by one game.
