The Royals losing streak reached twelve games with last night’s 5-4 loss to Cleveland.
Grady Sizemore practically carried Cleveland to the win, smashing two homers while ending the game with a great catch in centerfield.
Brett Tomko took the loss, giving up Casey Blake’s two-run homer in the sixth that proved to be the game-winner. The appearance was just the second in relief for Tomko this season.
Afterwards, Royals manager Trey Hillman called the streak "miserable."
