Crow Leads Mizzou Past Mississippi

May 31, 2008 By admin Leave a Comment

Aaron Crow (13-0) once again lived up to his All-American status and pitched the second-seeded Tiger baseball team to their first win of NCAA Regional play down in Coral Gables, Florida.

The 7-0 shutout victory over the third-seeded Mississippi Rebels was highlighted by Crow’s complete game and fourth shutout of the season.  The right-hander, who is expected to be among the first ten or so picks in next week’s MLB Entry Draft, struck out ten and allowed just three hits.  He has not lost a game this season.

Centerfielder Ryan Lollis was a perfect 4-for-4 at the plate, while catcher Trevor Coleman smacked a three-run homer in the seventh inning to put the game virtually out of reach.  Jacob Priday and Aaron Senne each contributed a pair of RBI.
