Former freshmen of the year arrested on drug charge

Lance Sullivan, a junior point guard for the Northwest Missouri State Bearcats was arrested on suspicion of distributing a controlled substance to a minor.  The felony carries a penalty of 5 to 15 years in jail.

Sullivan posted $15,000 bond last week and will appear in court on Tuesday, June 10th.  Sullivan was the team’s second leader scorer this past season and was named the MIAA Freshmen of the Year two seasons ago.
