Pre-season All-American Aaron Crow earned his school-record 12th victory in an 8-1 win over visiting Nebraska Friday night. His record now stands at a perfect 12-0 on the season.
It was a tight game most of the way, tied 1-1 through seven innings, until the Tiger offense exploded for seven runs in the bottom of the eighth. Steve Gray contributed the dagger, a two-run double with the bases loaded that put MU up by three. Gray finished the contest three-for-three with two RBI.
But the story of the night was Crow. He worked eight and a third innings, giving up just one run while striking out eight.
He moved into sixth place on the all-time Mizzou list with 111 strikeouts on the season, and he is now third with 261 career Ks.
