The MIAA Baseball Tournament was affected by the rain Saturday night (May 10), as the winner’s bracket final between No. 4 Emporia State and No. 23 Central Missouri was halted with 1 one out in the bottom of the eight, UCM batting and trailing 11-4.
The game is scheduled to resume at 10 a.m. Sunday (May 11), with the loser taking on Fort Hays State 30 minutes after the conclusion of the suspended game in the elimination bracket final.
The championship will now be a one-game, loser eliminated contest, and will start 30 minutes after the elimination bracket final.
