Springfield Cardinal fans break kazoo record

May 1, 2008 By admin Leave a Comment

courtesy Mark Harrell, Springfield Cardinals The Springfield Cardinals teamed up with the local Leukemia and Lymphoma Society to help raise money and set a new world record by having the most fans play "Take Me Out To The Ballgame" with kazoos.

The event was a huge success and helped raise money as well as put a lot of smiles on a lot of kids’ faces.  I talked with Sheila Boutwell, the campaign manager for the Mid-America Chapter of the Leukemian and Lymphoma Society about the entire night.
