Could Rams be ready to deal with Dallas

April 22, 2008 By admin Leave a Comment

I just got an e-mail from Lou Pickney at draftking.com.  He told me the Dolphins have already signed Michigan offensive tackle Jake Long.  He thinks this could open the door for the Rams to trade their pick to Dallas.

I copied the e-mail he sent over.  Here’s what he writes:

Bill:

Just read the Dolphins signed Jake Long. This could potentially allow the Rams to make a trade, perhaps a blockbuster with Dallas, which is rumored to be very interested in running Darren McFadden.  At the very least, it gives them much more power than they’d have to forge a deal, either with another team of with a pick at the #2 spot.

Lou.

Here’s more on the Jake Long story.
