Cardinals drop extra inning game to Milwaukee

The Cardinals had a 3-0 lead, but the bullpen stumbled giving up three in the 8 th and two in the 10 th on Prince Fielder’s first home run of the year off of Brad Thompson as the Brewers avoid the sweep by beating the Cardinals 5-3.

Ryan Ludwick homered in the 2 nd , then Kyle Lohse singled home two in the 4 th and was cruising on the mound until the 8 th .

Kyle Lohse gave up back to back doubles in the 8th, but Ryan Franklin and   Randy Flores could hold the lead.  Prince Fielder, hit the third double of the inning to tie the game.
