Priday’s five homers good enough for Big 12 P.O.W. award

4-15 Priday.jpg A no brainer for Big 12 baseball player of the week.  Jacob Priday of Missouri.  Set a Big 12 conference record with four home runs in the Tigers 31-12 win over Texas on Friday.  He was 7 of 12 last weekend with 11 RBI to go along with his four homers.

Earlier in the week, Priday was 1-for-3 with a three-run home run against Missouri State on Wednesday.

For the season, Priday leads the team with a .347 average, 11 home runs and 45 RBI. His batting average is fourth best in the Big 12 and he his tied for the conference lead in homers.
