The Missouri Tigers had a tough time, Saturday, reproducing the team’s run total from the night before when they demolished the Texas Longhorns 31-12, but they still scored plenty of runs as they once again hammered the Longhorns.  This time the score was 13-2.

Winning pitcher Kyle Gibson allowed only 1 earned run on 5 hits in 7 innings pitched. Losing starter Brandon Workman gave up 6 earned runs on 7 hits in 3 innings of work.

The Tigers once again had their hitting shoes on as they belted out 17 hits.  Mizzou is now 7-4 in the Big 12, 245-8 overall.  The Tigers have taken the first two games of the weekend series at Taylor Stadium and play the series finale Sunday afternoon.
