Central Missouri upsets Nebraska at NCAA bowling championships

Jamie Mitchell of UCM bowling (courtesy Dave Kopp) The Jennies defeated top-seed Nebraska (4-1) in their opening match Friday morning of the double-elimination championship tournament at the NCAA Championships in Omaha, Nebraska. The Jennies, who had finished eighth in qualifying round competition.

The scores were 179-156, 186-192, 180-176, 174-173, 180-168.

In their second match of the day, they lost to Jersey City University 4-2-1.

The scores were  (159-181, 156-198, 181-181, 193-189, 212-171, 167-164, 187-184)
