Those Tiger power hitters must have trouble in cold weather.  The Royals sweep the opening series of the season, with a 4-1 win.

Another solid pitching performance from a Royals starter.  Zach Greinke went seven innings, allowed just one run, that coming on a solo home run from Brandon Inge, but Greinke got plenty of support.

Alex Gordon hit his second home run of the year, and Mark Teahen went deep as well.

Ramon Ramirez, who came over late in Spring Training in a trade with Colorado pitched a scoreless 8th, and Joakim Soria picked up his second save.

Warmer temperatures for the Royals now as they head indoors to Minnesota.
