Rams may move training camp to Wisconsin

April 2, 2008 By admin Leave a Comment

Rams Park, home to training camp for the past three years The Rams are looking into the possibility of moving training camp away from Rams Park in Earth City, just outside St. Louis either back to the Western Illinois campus in Macomb, or even a couple of college campuses in Wisconsin.

Head coach Scott Linehan would like the team to get away from the city, plus the advantage of training in Wisconsin is the team could scrimmage with either the Green Bay Packers or the Kansas City Chiefs who practice in Wisconsin as well.

The Chiefs practice in Black River Falls.  If the Rams were to select their other option, the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh, the Rams may end up working with the Green Bay Packers.  Oshkosh is about 50 miles from Green Bay.
