Mizzou’s Bruck named Big 12 player of the week

Jen Bruck Jen Bruck, a senior on the Missouri softball team has been named Big 12 player of the week.  She is the third Tiger to win the award this season, the most by any Big 12 team so far.

Bruck, from St. Peters, Missouri had a great week at the plate.  She hit .500, going 6 for 12.  Four of her six hits were home runs!  Bruck stands atop the Missouri career home run record book with 46, 13 coming this season, including four in her last four games.

The Missouri softball team play Drake in a doubleheader today beginning at 3 p.m. on University Field. Game two is slated to begin at 5 p.m.
