Mizzou’s Black and Gold game to be televised

March 11, 2008 By admin Leave a Comment

The hype around the nation has already started for Mizzou football.  The Missouri Tigers start the first of fourteen spring practices today.  ESPNU announced it will carry Missouri’s Black and Gold game on April 19th at 1pm.

With increased interest in the game, the athletic department will be selling tickets in advance at $3 apiece.  You can go online or call 1-800-CAT-PAWS or pick up tickets at the Mizzou Arena ticket office.  Three canned food items (accepted only on gameday) also gain admittance to the game, with the food going to benefit the Central Missouri Food Bank.

The 2008 Tigers return 16 starters from a year ago, including returning all-American standouts QB Chase Daniel, WR/PR/KR Jeremy Maclin and FS William Moore, are expected to be among the nation’s best once again.
