Returning State Representative Mary Kasten (R-Cape Girardeau) says this is just a temporary thing. Kasten is finishing the term of Representative Nathan Cooper, who is in prison for violating immigration laws.
Kasten says she will not run for a full term this year. Kasten is 79. She served in that seat for 18 years before leaving in 2001.
