Missouri Rolls Out Welcome Mat for White House Hopefuls

February 2, 2008 By admin Leave a Comment

Missouri’s political junkies are having a fun time this weekend as all the Republican and Democratic presidential wannabees – except for Republican Ron Paul – spend some time in the Show-Me State.

John McCain (R-AZ) kicked it off with a rally yesterday in Chesterfield, followed by a Mike Huckabee (R-AR) event last night in Springfield.

Former President Bill Clinton campaigns for his wife, Hillary Clinton (D-NY), in Columbia today and in Springfield tonight. The former First Lady appears in St. Louis tomorrow afternoon, followed by Barack Obama (D-IL) in St. Louis tomorrow night.

It’s expected that Mitt Romney (R-MA) will be in the St. Louis area this weekend, as well.
