The fans in Cape Girardeau, and those watching on ESPNU, got a treat last night as the Southeast Missouri Redhawks went into triple overtime against Austin Peay and won 121-116.

SEMO led by as many as 13 with 8 minutes to play in the game, but couldn’t hold that lead.  Jaycen Herring socred 29, Kenard Moore scored 28 off the bench for the Redhawks now 12-11 on the year.

The Redhawks led 72-59, but Austin Peay battled back to tie the game at 81 and both teams held on the defensive end to send the game into overtime.   In the third overtime, Moore would hit his seventh three pointer of the game and the Redhawks pulled away from there.
