The #21 SBU Bearcats defeated the Missouri Western Griffons, 76-56, and moved to 7-2 in the MIAA.

Matt Rogers led all scoring with 21 points. Rogers blocked 5 shots, giving him 167 for his career, which set a new SBU record. The previous career record was held by David Harris (set in his only year at SBU), who had 164 swats during the 1990-91 season.

Jim Grabowski added a double-double of 15 points and 10 rebounds. D’Ante Harris scored 17 on 4 of 6 from long range.

SBU held on to their #21 ranking in the latest NABC/Division II coaches poll. With the win, SBU moves to 14-4 on the season and 7-2 in the conference.  Next up is MIAA rival Northwest Missouri on Saturday night here in Bolivar.
