The Rams have a new offensive line coach. Head coach Scott Linehan has hired Steve Loney. He worked with Linehan when they were on the Vikins staff from 02-04 in Minnesota. When Linehan replaced Martz a couple of years ago, he wanted Loney to join the staff, but at the time was on Dennis Green’s staff at Arizona and the Cardinals said no to setting up an interview. Last season, Loney working at Drake, and was available after Linehan fired Paul Boudreau.
Linehan has also interviewed Atlanta Falcons offensive coordinator Hue Jackson for that job with the Rams. Jackson and Bengals quarterback coach Ken Zampese are the only two so far to interview with Linehan.
