Arsonist Pleads Guilty in St. Louis Fire Setting Spree

January 18, 2008 By admin Leave a Comment

A St. Louis firebug has pleaded guilty to setting fires in seven vacant houses late last year.

Andrew Franklin has pleaded guilty to seven arson and seven burglary charges. He’ll be sentenced later. On videotape, he told police he set even more fires. Prosecutors say Franklin was charged with the seven strongest cases the prosecution had.

Franklin’s mother says her son dreamed of being a firefighter.
