The Missouri Tigers finished 4th in the AP College Football Poll following last night’s 38-24 LSU win over Ohio State. LSU is number one, followed by Georgia, USC, then Missouri. Ohio State was 5th with West Virginia, Kansas, Oklahoma, Virginia Tech 6th through 9th with Texas and Boston College tied for 10th. In the USA Today Coaches Poll, the Tigers flipped with Ohio State coming in 5th.
It is the highest finish ever for a Missouri football team. The 1960 squad finished 5th, the 1969 team ranked 6th.
