January 5, 2008 By admin Leave a Comment

House Speaker Rod Jetton’s former Chief of Staff is set to announce, on Monday, that he is running for the Senate seat being vacated by State Senator Chris Koster (D-Harrisonville), who is running for the Democratic nomination for Attorney General.

Chris Benjamin is running as a Democrat. A press release says Benjamin will be joined by Koster and former Senator Harold Caskey (D-Butler) during a kick-off tour that will start in Warrrensburg before moving onto Harrisonville and Butler before wrapping up in Nevada.
