Missouri Authorities Hit Traffic Death Goal – Under 1,000 For Year

January 2, 2008 By admin Leave a Comment

Missouri has finished 2007 with fewer than one-thousand traffic fatalities. The final number will be determined in a few weeks because some people injured in 2007 will die of their injuries later.

The state already has recorded its first two fatalities of 2008 – a man from Bogard who was killed in northwest Missouri’s Caldwell County less than an hour into the new year, and an Illinois man killed six hours into the new year in Macon County.
