I was doing a little surfing on YouTube this morning looking for some video on the Pittsburgh Steelers who are in St. Louis to play the Rams tonight.  I stumbled on this video that came out during their Super Bowl run and couldn’t believe that Pittsburgh fans rallied around this song called Here We Go .

So then I went back into my memory banks and thought of other "lame" pro team fight songs and the first one that popped into my head was from 1985 when the Chicago Bears won their only Super Bowl.  They had the Superbowl Shuffle .  I admit, being from Chicago, at the time I thought this song was awesome (to steal an 80’s term), but after watching it again I found myself embarrassed for those guys.

The Bears must have started something special there in the mid-80’s because the Calgary Flames tried their hand at a song and video after winning the 1986 Stanley Cup called Red Hot .  Look for former Blues player and recent Hockey Hall of Fame inductee Al MacInnis playing the trombone.  I think former Blue Brett Hull shows up too with his blonde mullet?

Enjoy the videos!
