Cards’ Manager to Lose Driving Privileges

St. Louis Cardinals Manager Tony La Russa will lose his driving privileges for six months, will pay a fine and will perform community service for driving drunk in Florida.

La Russa has pleaded guilty in Palm Beach County Court to driving under the influence on March 22nd in Jupiter, Florida.

La Russa didn’t attend the court hearing. His attorney did. La Russa was attending a celebrity roast in St. Louis for Fox broadcaster Joe Buck. La Russa has agreed to pay a $250 fine and nearly $430 in court costs. He will have to perform 25 hours of community service.
