It’s one of the most celebrated of Kansas City holiday traditions – the lighting ceremony at the Country Club Plaza. And, thousands of people braved the sub-freezing temperatures to cheer as the lights came on in the 78th annual lighting ceremony. The lighting ceremony also featured fireworks.
