ESPN Gameday Will Be At Arrowhead

November 19, 2007 By admin Leave a Comment

One of the more popular sports television shows around, ESPN’s College GameDay, presented by the Home Depot, will broadcast its show live this Saturday in conjunction with the University of Missouri and University of Kansas football game, to be played that evening at Kansas City’s Arrowhead Stadium.

The Mizzou-Kansas Border Showdown is the featured game of the weekend (ABC full national telecast at 7 p.m. CST), and will be one of the top games of the year.  With the Big 12 Conference North Division title on the line, the 3 rd -ranked Tigers (10-1 overall, 6-1 in Big 12 play) and 2 nd -ranked Jayhawks (11-0, 7-0) will be featured extensively by iconic hosts Chris Fowler, Lee Corso, Kirk Herbstreit and Desmond Howard.

Mizzou fans are encouraged and implored to come out to the set to show the nation just how much they are behind the Tigers, who are in the midst of arguably the school’s biggest season in nearly 50 years.

GameDay will originate from a location yet to be finalized at the Truman Sports Complex grounds (stay tuned to www.mutigers.com for updates), but fans are asked to come out for the first "hit" of GameDay that takes place on the 8 a.m. (central) SportsCenter show.  GameDay then takes over the airwaves for its customary two hours, from 9-11 a.m.
