Authorities in McDonald County have found the body of 9-year-old Rowan Ford, who had been missing since Friday from her home in Stella, in Newton County.
The Joplin Globe reports McDonald County coroner B.J. Goodwin saying authorities are canvassing the vicinity in which the youngster’s body was found.
"All we are doing is pronouncing," said Goodwin. "And then we are going to refer the case back to Newton County."
