Piniero To Stay Put In St. Louis

Joel Piniero, acquired in July in a trade with the Red Sox will not test the free agent market, instead deciding to sign with the Cardinals for two years, $13 million.  Piniero was 6-4 with a 3.96 ERA in 11 starts.
