Baseball Game in O’Fallon Sets World Record

The baseball game went into exra innings this weekend in O’Fallon … before the Browns Beat the Stars 119-81.

That’s right … Baseball.

Browns and the Stars, mostly from the city’s Senior Baseball League, played 92 innings. But most important they played for 32 hours, 29 minutes, 25 seconds. That goes into the Guinness Book of World Records as the longest baseball game ever played. They beat the old record was set two years ago in Alliance, Nebraska. The group in O’Fallon broke that record by more than two hours, 24 minutes.
