Devlin Sentencing: Day Two

October 9, 2007 By admin Leave a Comment

Michael Devlin has pleaded guilty in Potosi to six kidnapping and sexual abuse charges. He’s been sentenced to three life terms plus 60 years in prison for kidnapping 11-year-old Shawn Hornbeck in 2002.

Devlin will begin to serve those sentences after he finishes the life sentence plus 20 years he was given yesterday for pleading guilty in Franklin County to the kidnapping of Ben Ownby.

Devlin is to go to St. Louis County this afternoon to answer 71 charges. He was arrested at his apartment in Kirkwood, where he had held the two boys. If there is time after that court appearance, he’ll be taken to the federal district courthouse in the city to face six federal charges.\
