Devlin Pleading Guilty in Washington County

October 9, 2007 By admin Leave a Comment

Michael Devlin goes to Washington County today to plead guilty to more kidnapping and sex abuse charges. He pleaded guilty yesterday in Franklin County to the January kidnapping of Ben Ownby and got life plus 20 years.

Devlin has admitted searching three months for a boy he could kidnap before he snatched the Ownby boy not far from his home in January.

He’s expected to plead guilty in Potosi today to the kidnapping of Shawn Hornbeck in 2002, and in St. Louis County, where he lived and kept the boys in his apartment.

If Devlin lives long enough to finish all the state sentences he’s getting, he’ll start serving his federal prison sentences.
