Damon Huard has what’s being called a shoulder contusion.  He’s scheduled to have an MRI.  He said his shoulder felt much better on Monday.  There’s a chance he may still start this weekend against Cincinnati, the same team he got his chance against last year when Trent Green got nailed in the home opener.

If Huard is not ready to go, Brodie Croyle will get the call who had the job for his taking during the summer, but failed to impress Herm Edwards.  Croyle has mopped up in the Chicago game and last week he threw his first NFL touchdown pass at the end of the Jacksonville game.
