A state task force on children’s issues is seeking your input. Former Senator Bill Foster is co-chair of the Missouri Task Force on Children’s Justice, and says the task force wants input on a variety of topics, including court practices, child advocacy, case management, and changes that will strengthen the foster parent program. Foster says that Missouri’s child justice program is unique among other states. The mission of the Missouri Task Force on Children’s Justice is to recommend improvement to child abuse and neglect laws, policies, programs, professional education and public education, and to provide the funding to support the recommendations. To make comments and provide input, go to www.dss.mo.gov , click on "children", scroll to "task force on children’s justice" and click, then scroll to "comments".
