The Cardinals losing streak has reached 6 following their 5-1 loss to Cincinnati.  It all fell apart for starter Anthony Reyes in the 4 th giving up a solo shot to Brandon Phillips and a two run homer to Edwin Encarnacion ending Reyes’ night after just 3 2/3 innings sending his record to 2-14.  The Cardinals went 1 for 8 with runners in scoring position.  The starting pitching may be wearing down.  Over the past 10 games, the Cards are 2-8.  The starters have lasted a total of 36 2/3 innings — 3 2/3 per game which is what Reyes went yesterday.  Not gonna win much when that happens.  Cards 4 games behind Chicago and Milwaukee.
