Wrongful Termination Suit Filed by Former MSU Professor

September 4, 2007 By admin Leave a Comment

Former Missouri State University professor George Cron says the University fired him after he broke off a romantic relationship with a female faculty member. Cron has filed a wrongful termination lawsuit, charging the school fired him after improperly denying him tenure and referring to him as "bigoted" and "sexist."

He says fellow dance department faculty member Rhythm McCarthy helped him get his faculty job but started a series of actions to ruin his reputation in the department after he told her he did not intend to consummate an affair with her.

He wants his job back and back pay.
