Royals Can’t Sweep Tigers

The Tigers finally break through today against the Royals, breaking a 1-1 tie in the 5 ^th with four runs off home runs by Curtis Granderson and Magglio Ordonez off Royals starter Leo Nunez.  Royals can’t pull off the sweep and lose 6-1.  Tigers left 57 runners on base in this three game series!  No rest for the Royals.  They head back to Minnesota where they’re going to play the Twins 3 times in 24 hours.  Day-night double header tomorrow, and an early Saturday morning game at 11:10 to make time for the Gophers football game.
